This is a one-off exhibition of thirty little drawings I did while travelling in Europe mid-2018 and the little drawings I've been doing in Erskineville and Newtown since I returned.

Although other artists have been creating artworks around similar themes, my emphasis is on everyday life in my local community. The minutiae of life is my 'thing'! Whether it’s the inclusion of a certain breed of dog popular in the area, or a fashion item favoured by my fellow inner west residents, or as a nod to longstanding businesses that have survived strong competition as the area expands, I try to capture the local flavour in a way that others don’t.

The original drawings are tiny and not for sale as they were most frequently done in a small journal on fairly flimsy paper! However the drawings for the exhibition and for sale have been professionally scanned and printed up to ten times larger on beautiful textured watercolour paper.
